Disclaimer :
I won't be responsible if you still get 'B' Grade after applying my theory to
the way you study.
Purpose Of Theory:
The main point is, this theory is to share with you guys how I get my 'A' grade daily. Hehe.
Theory Starts NOW!
1. Your Facilitator Is Your Boss, Make Him Feel Like One.
Most probably at the start of the semester, all your facilitator lay their rules & expectations for the class(Eg. No earpiece on the ears during meetings, No sleeping at anytime he/she is around). Whatever he wants, you better give it(he's the one grading you eventually).Every facilitator rules & expectations may sound different, but it all come to one thing :
DO BE PRO-ACTIVE IN CLASS.
2.Get Yourself Involves As Much During All 3 Meetings*AND MAKE SURE YOUR FACILITATOR NOTICE IT*.
This is rather important. Always be involves in all 3 meetings. Even if your ideas are stupid, just throw it out to the table for team discussions. This semester I've done it alot of time, because I'm a noob less interested in IT and Programming. (I don't know if my team mates ever notice that sometimes if I'm lazy, I type stupid answers in my worksheet.)LOLs.
The other problem is: I've heard my classmates from all 3 semester complaining,
"Wah Piang, I give out so much ideas to the team also get B...Sian ar".
The problem is that, you speak your ideas out SOFTLY. How can the facilitator acknowledge your contributions if he doesn't know you contribute. That's why it's important to BE LOUD IN CLASS. Be noticed when contributing ideas.
3. Your Team vs 4 Other Teams.
Let's be clear that it's impossible for facilitator to give the whole class 'A' grades every week. Only the Best survive. That's why it's important to have this mindset,
"I want to dent the other teams hope of getting A, so that I can get it!"
I personally don't believe that everyone in class is so kind enough to help each other out by sharing ideas, because Team is their first priority. They want their team to be better than the other 4.
That why in my previous post I said something like, "I would support my team mates to be as good as me or EVEN better than me." I didn't mention CLASS MATES.LOLs.
*Xue Fang & Kristy would be wondering how to dent other teams hope of getting A.hehe*
EASY! I only have 2 effective methods.
(1. Always take credits for your work. Don't let other team take it away from you.
2. Shoot the other team with questionS to make sure they know what they are presenting. It's FUN seeing their confused faces after awhile.LOLs.)
4. Last But Not Least, Cover Your Teammates Weakness And Expand Their Potentials.
Everyone sure are potentially good at what they're doing. Some are excellent in programming, some are excellent in researching, and some are even excellent in getting 6th presentation. -.-"
So whatever they are good at, just assign them the task which is related to what they're good at.
Now their weakness, scariest part. Sometime your team mates just put in words in the presentation slides without knowing what they are presenting, which could screw your grade.
So usually before the 3rd meeting, I would gather my team members and discuss what's written on the presentation slides. Whatever things we don't understand, we take it off the presentation slides. This minimise the weakness of our team because then it's harder for other team to shoot us a random question which could stunt our brain.LOLs.
THE END OF THEORY
So Don't Just Read This Theory Over And Over Again.
Apply it in PRACTICAL! Make It Happen.
Catch As Many 'A' Grade As You Can.Hee.
Any other questions or tips you can type it in my tagboard and I'll try my best to answer it.
Cheers!
